So I went to prom this past saturday with xthundermuffinsx.
What follows? Well, what usually does: I had a blast. It was something I will not soon forget. She's helped string together a few amazing days only a few days away from eachother. First our anniversary on April the 25 of this year, and then prom. How can one person do it? Only she can.
On the 25th, I distinctly remember sitting on a parkbench around 9 at night, just staring at the clear skies. I just can't clear illustrate what exactly I liked so much about this part in particular. It was a feeling more powerful than feeling loved, it was a feeling of completion. It was my version of bliss.
And she had given it to me, only me. Sitting together with her I felt that feeling of completion.
And then she made me that wonderful animation. Seriously, I can't watch it without feeling so much emotion I can barley hold myself up. I can't even begin to say how much that meant to me.
Anyway, prom was...well, amazing. I got there early, got held up by a train beforehand but still got there early, we went to prom, had lots of fun, talked to just about everyone (everyone I know, anyhow), went to her friends house afterwards and finished off the night.
It was great. It all was. And She had fun. So how could it have been any better?
Well, I felt I owed this all to her, just to let her know how I felt. Yeah, I know I can just tell her in person, but this holds a certain impact as well.
I wouldn't think anybody would actually be reading this, but for the sake of completeness I may as well fill out this portion.
I'm certainly no artist, I can tell you that much. I'm simply here for the commenting and other such things you could do here. Basically anything that I churn out will not have any sort of artistic merit, at least in the strictest sense. In fact, there's a good chance I won't churn anything out at all.
I'm currently living out a pretty happy life that I really can't complain about even if you held me at gunpoint while threatening to saw off my limbs. Oh, and I'm currently in college. I'm majoring in computer science. Not the easiest area of study, but certainly not the hardest either. I am also happily in a relationship with the artist xthundermuffinsx, have been for a year and I've never been happier since. I'm mostly here to comment on all the art she does first and foremost, as I would like to support her in all she does.
Things I like include a merry assortment of anime, which I won't bother to list because it's hard to keep track of. Current one's I'm watching include Kuroshitsuji, Clannad after story, Figure 17, to heart, and Azumanga Daioh.
I also enjoy video games quite a bit. I'm a big fan of super smash brothers brawl, Megaman, castlevania, street fighter, mario, metroid, zelda, Phoenix Wright(VERY MUCH SO/capslock), pokemon, Trauma center, fire emblem, Team fortress 2, Phantasy Star, Final Fantasy, F-zero, Breath of Fire, and Kirby.
Phew, that was an exhaustive list.
But, um, yeah. There you go.
